Hi! I’m Coach Ari
I’m an Italian, energetic, New Jersey native who traded wooded hills for the dirt roads of West Texas. I’ve been seriously working out/playing sports since I was 10 years old and in 2018 decided to quit my corporate packaging engineering career after 7 years in the industry.
I am an AFAA certified Instructor as well as certified Orangetheory Fitness Coach with over 1000 classes taught in a variety of fitness formats and fitness levels. I am fascinated by human movement and obsessed with creativity.
My Philosophy? Movement is medicine, and Fitness is way more than a look-it’s how we feel energized and successful in our own lives, and furthermore feel energized to serve others.
Before Training Camp, I was bored of the same old workouts, lacking enough strength training, and paying for memberships I didn’t use. (come on we all have a few right?) Not at Training Camp! I felt stuck and unmotivated. During quarantine, I decided that needed to change so I could see true gains from home. Now, I’m constantly coming up with new ways to challenge all bodies of all fitness levels. Think these workouts are just for women? Think again. Tell your friends, tell your enemies. I’m pumped to be your biggest hype-girl (and humble you too) as we sweat together on this journey!
Frequently asked questions
What are the workouts like?
The workouts are a mix of strength and cardio. Each week, the workouts will be sent out in an email along with your weekly meal plan, and playlists. They will be available in an online library right here on arianatravelstead.com
Some days we will focus on upper body and others we will do a completely different protocol: meaning different number of reps, circuits, number of cardio exercises:
For example: an Upper Shred day might consist of shoulder raises, front presses, pushups, or resistance band work.
A Dynamic core day might include a lunge to rotation, plank to rotation, plank reach- we’ll work in ALL planes of motion to increase your internal and functional core strength to enhance any lifestyle you might lead! (Golf, chasing kids, rec. activities).
How will the 6 week challenge work? How do I qualify for weekly/overall prizes?
A weekly email will be sent out every Saturday morning so that you can plan for the following week! Workouts will be made available as each week moves on.
We will check in on Instagram and I’ll send you a template to use on stories or you can just use a GIF!
I’ll show you some cool story tips throughout the challenge to make your own fun check-ins

Before and after photos
I encourage you to take before and after photos for YOURSELF but they are not required for this challenge! I say this because if you participate and you give your best effort at least 3-4 days per week you WILL see results and you will want to know where that progress has started from!
What Kind of equipment do I need and where do I order if I need to purchase?
We will primarily use dumbbells and bodyweight-whatever you have at home will work! I will provide some subs that you can use though- I’m the queen of creativity! (laundry detg. bottles make great weights and I regularly use mine at home for a lot of movements. Soup cans, water jugs) I’ll be sending out a resource guide this weekend so you can order what you need! We will use mini bands and resistance bands (but I’ll give options using dumbbells if you like to stick to those)
I like Hope Fitness Gear: resistance bands, mini bands. Amazon for a step/bench. It’s helpful if you have some type of bench or step that you can step up on, or hop over. Otherwise you can use an ottoman.
Will I get follow along videos or just a PDF guide with pictures?
Both!!! I wanted you to have the option of having a STUDIO QUALITY workout from home-unmatched coaching cues and energy from me, as well as a PDF guide of that week’s workouts.
You’ll have access forever and the full guide will be sent out at the end of the program.
Is this challenge for me?
If you feel stuck, in a funk, simply looking for something new- this challenge is for you. Anyone looking to change up their routine, find motivation to keep going with their workouts (all of us right?!) What a time to take back control of the ONE thing we can control this year - our bodies. If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year, it’s that nothing can stop you from feeling your best- not cancelled plans, not restrictions on space….we will create time for ourselves and end 2020 with a rockin’ bod!
Who will this challenge not work for?
This challenge will be challenging if you have no access to dumbbells. At this time, this program is not created with simply bodyweight exercises, however I encourage you to get creative! You can use laundry detergent bottles for many moves and I’ll list some of the weighted equivalents online here and IG before we get started.
Soup cans, water bottles will also work well.
This challenge will NOT give you results if you do not show up and put in the work. I know you have the desire-but at Training Camp, we will develop the willpower for you to stay consistent!
You will get accelerated results if you follow a nutrition plan. Although I am not a certified nutritionist, all the guidelines in the Eat to Fuel Guide are based off of NASM and PN1 training I have had throughout the years and can be found to be proven, basic, scientific guidelines that are easy to follow.
