One of my core values is empowerment: health is more than a ‘look’. Our mental and emotional health has a lot to do with our hormones which if you haven’t notice, really control your mood. The saying ‘your one workout away from a good mood’ can sometimes be misleading. While I absolutely endorse the endorphins we get from exercise to be used as the best anti-depressent, its also healthy to find other outlets to relieve stress and discover creativity.
For me, writing can be that. So I want to share it with you in a free online journaling challenge. I’ll be posting daily journaling prompts AND workouts to my blog and my instagram page @arianatravelstead.
A 21 Day Challenge:
Spend more time reflecting and less time 'consuming' screen time.
Inspire Creativity
Relieve Stress.
Start anytime. Every night I'll share the prompt for the next day. Set a timer for 10 minutes to just free-write. Enjoy the power of your thoughts flowing on paper or keyboard.
As the days go on, allow yourself to add time and space to this creative or reflective session. The prompts will be light-hearted, or serious, nostalgic or futuristic.
Establish some new habits for yourself in lieu of checking social when you get up or stick to a time limit. Take breaks when you need but invite this new part of your routine to grow with you, not against you.
