Ingredients

1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs (fresh, or other) 1/4 cup milk
2 egg yolks
1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 1⁄2 teaspoons table salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 pound ground pork
1⁄2 cup fresh Italian flat leaf parsley or basil (or a mixture of both), roughly chopped
Olive oil

Spices:
2 tbsp Oregano
2 tbsp Dried Basil
Parsley (optional)
Fresh Basil for on top (optional)

Directions

TIP! Have a Kitchenaid blender? I use mine with the paddle attachment to combine all my ingredients (including the ground turkey).

Using breadcrumbs of your choice (homemade, panko or other), Combine the breadcrumbs with milk, ground turkey or meat of your choosing (beef/pork, etc), eggs, grated parm cheese and seasonings.

ARI'S FAV TURKEY MEATBALLS!

I love to double this recipe, to add to sauce, salads or entrees! They freeze exceptionally well too.

TIP! Sprinkle flour on the counter and grab a handful before making each one, to keep the meatballs from sticking together.

Form into 1/4-cup size balls.Cook the meatballs with olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned all over. Cover and simmer until cooked through, adding some tomato sauce if you like. Serve with homemade marinara sauce, or your favorite pasta sauce.

Note* if you are making tomato sauce, brown your meatballs and then add them to your sauce and cook for a few hours. They will stay tender and cook thoroughly giving your sauce extra flavor!
